Yoga rocks my world. Yoga is, to me, the continuing process of opening my heart of exactly who I most truly am. A mess and perfect at the same time! I don’t need to balance on one hand, I don’t need to touch my toes, I just need to let myself be exactly what I bring to the mat and accept the good, the fear, and the challenge with kindness and a sense of humor. I’m extremely thankful to Janet Stone, Jason Crandall, Jason Bowman, Annie Carpenter, Saul David Raye, Stephanie Snyder and Tias Little for their wisdom and guidance with my continuing yoga education.
Yoga came into my life when I was falling into a spiral of depression, feeling really scared and lonely. With the help of a very wise teacher, Meghan Bowen of the Bo Tree Studio in Davis, California, I started my healing journey. I completed my 200 hour teacher training in the vinyasa style of practice. Over the years I have completed over 500 hours of training in various modalities of yoga including Thai Yoga Massage.
When not on the mat, you can find me hanging with my boyfriend, playing with my sweet daughter’s dog, Ruby , loving on my grand daughters, hiking, cooking, soaking in hot tubs and enjoying the company of my bestie buds. Life is good.
My classes are filled with God, amazing music, alignment, life stories, party tricks, and an environment where we can just be and feel loved.
Yoga has connected me to people that have enriched my life and become some of my most cherished friends. It has given me a community that is so genuine and generous. So much gratitude. I LOVE yoga!
