Yoga found me in 2010 when a friend introduced me to my first Bikram Yoga class. Stepping onto the mat, I only expected a great physical challenge when I entered the room. When I left class, my whole perspective of the practice shifted. I discovered that yoga does not only create lightness and ease in the body, but that it also sharpens and strengthens the mind.
I continued to practice Bikram Yoga up until the Summer of 2014. The practice inspired me to make dramatic changes to my way of living and thinking. During that time, I developed an awareness of the connection between mind, body and spirit. In the Fall 2014, I completed my 200hr teacher training at Rev Yoga in Napa. The training allowed me to deepen my knowledge of yoga asana and philosophy, focusing mainly on Hatha and Vinyasa Flow styles. In continuation of my journey, I've recently begun to study the 8 Limbed path of Ashtanga Yoga, which I'm quickly coming to love.
Incorporating my experience in Bikram, the subtlety of Hatha and the breath and flow of Vinyasa my classes will invigorate, expand, and strengthen you from the inside out.
