We invite you to join us for a six class Beginners series which explores the foundations of Yoga. Designed for Beginners, but open to all levels of practitioner, this series will allow you to develop your Yoga practice in a slower paced and supported environment.
Over the course of the six classes, we will introduce Yoga philosophy, breathing techniques and basic asana (poses) and transitions. You will develop a general awareness of the anatomy of Yoga postures, how it applies to your body, and how to practice Yoga safely and intelligently. You will also learn the "flow" of a Yoga class and understand basic cues for transitioning in and out of poses.
This series is designed as a progression with the first class being the most basic and the last class resembling an all levels class. Each week will build on the previous week's practice and will increase in intensity. By the end of the sixth class you will have built the awareness and confidence needed to step into any of our Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative Yoga classes.
Tuition for the series is $120.00
Classes are held every Wednesday evening from 7:30 - 9:00pm starting 5/3 and ending on 6/7.
