Announcing our Fall Beginners Yoga Series starting September 7th!
We invite you to join us for a 6 class series which explores the foundations of Yoga. Designed for Beginners, but open to all levels of practitioner, this series will allow you to develop your Yoga practice in a slower paced and supported environment.
Over the course of the 6 classes, we will introduce Yoga philosophy, breathing techniques and basic asana (poses) and transitions. You will develop a general awareness of the anatomy of Yoga postures, how it applies to your body, and how to practice Yoga safely and intelligently. You will also learn the "flow" of a Yoga class and understand basic cues for transitioning in and out of poses.
This series is designed as a progression with the first class being the most basic and the last class resembling a Level 1-2 Class. Each week will build on the previous week's practice and will increase in intensity. By the end of the sixth class you will have built the awareness and confidence needed to step into any of our Level 1-2 Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative Yoga classes.
Beginners Series Students will meet every Wednesday evening from September 7th - October 12th at 7:30pm. Classes are 75 minutes.
Tuition is $120.00
No Yoga experience is needed. We provide everything required including Yoga mats, props and materials. Feel free to bring your own mats, blankets, props if you have them. Tuition covers all six classes in the series. Refunds will not be given for missed classes.
