Iyengar Yoga named for the great Yoga master, B.K.S. Iyengar, is based on three tenets - Precision, Energy, and Subtlety. Through the extensive use of props, Iyengar Yoga is designed to accommodate all capacities regardless of age, injury, lack of flexibility or other limitations.
In this Beginner Series we will lay the foundation for an intimate understanding of Yoga, and more uniquely, the best practice for you individually. Just right for your first experience of Yoga, or if you have not done yoga for some time, the perfect re-entry!
LaVelle Lourdes has been practicing and teaching Iyengar Yoga for over 40 years and will guide you through this experience every step of the way.
The Iyengar Beginner Series begins on Sunday June 14th at 10:30 and will meet every Sunday through July 26th with the exception of July 5th. Classes are 90 minutes.
Series cost is $105.00 for all 6 classes and will be limited to 16 students. Tuition is due prior to series start and is non refundable. A commitment to all 6 classes is required.
